Should be capable of coordinating and managing a team of 10-12 teammates.
Should understand and be able to execute commodity value chains.
Hands on practical understanding of market and market mechanisms.
Market development for various agriculture commodities, value chain analysis and value chain Development.
Capability of analysing financial and business data.
Understanding of FPOs and FPO eco system (Legal compliances, legal environment, donors)
Business planning, budget preparation, monitoring and review of business plan.
Higher level Computer literacy, especially excel, data management, office 365 and MS office 365.
Understanding of Gender inclusivity
Job Profile
Carefully understand the programmes and different project, area of the programme its issues and challenges
Understand the team with whom to coordinated for the implementation in the field
Training of the team on various fronts of agriculture and its innovation with special context of bio-diversification of cropping systems.
Engaging techniques such as System of Crop Intensification, Conservation Agriculture IPM and INM for enhancement of the production sustainably
Planning of agriculture budget for the implementation
Coordination of field team, extension officers, village level volunteers for the implementation of the agriculture programme
Identification the potential market and develop a plan of agriculture production of our core beneficiaries.
Strengthening of Existing Village Level Institutions Like- Kisan Vikas Samiti, Sinchai Vikas Samiti, and Federation etc.
Follow up and data base management of existing of activities like Vermicompost, Group Irrigation System, Green Net House Nursery, KVS, Conservation Agriculture, Kitchen and Landless Garden etc.
To impart training regarding on-going activities as well as dissemination of information about new agricultural technologies and methodologies among the farmers.
Lead team such as inputs – seeds, integrated crop management, bio-controls etc. for demonstrations and scaling.
Trainings of village volunteers, organizing exposure visits for them in programme significant locations.
Linking with the local stakeholders – agriculture university, KVK, other NGOS, technical organization to support agriculture intervention in various forms.
Organizing farmers in village institution such as learner’s group for the up-gradation of agriculture knowledge on timely basis
Documenting written and visual on success stories, case studies from the field
Timely reporting to the donor in English with the help of field team and research and monitoring
Managing necessary field data/photographs required for reporting to the donor
To work in guidance with the programme manager/ Area Manager and project mandate that is to enhance the production, productivity and area under pulses in the selected villages
Any other task assigned by AKRSP (I) management.
