Project Manager (Youth Skills Development)

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat with travel to project locations

Education: Graduation/ Post graduation/Engineering/MBA/IT

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in managing large scale placement linked, youth skills project

Skills & Competencies required
  • Very good understanding of youth skills development ecosystem including government programmes, ITI, vocational trainings and employment

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of youth skills training programmes with focus on, future skills, digital skills trainings and IT-ITES domain. 

  • Good understanding of future skills courses, training tools, content development, assessment, and certification. 

  • Strong team and people management skills

  • Ability to manage number of stake holders and liasioning with government and other partners

  • Good MIS management, analytical, and presentation skills. 

  • Strong report writing and communication skills. 

  • Good understanding of monitoring and evaluation tools and systems. 

  • Project management skills for overall management and timely completion of deliverables

Job Profile
  • Overall management of Youth Skills and employment project. 

  • Develop future and existing operational strategies to meet the desired outcomes and timely completion of projects.

  • Managing multiple stakeholders, closely working with government department and implementation partner for smooth implementation of the project. 

  • Developing strong communication and reporting system to convey the project progress and outcomes.

  • Develop and maintain project data and MIS for reporting. 

  • Developing monitoring and evaluation system to ensure quality training and project outcomes. 

  • Build strong understanding of changing skills development landscape and opportunities for new projects and innovation

  • Preparation of project proposals, periodic reports, and management of project budget.
