Project Executive - for Women-owned and managed Solar Irrigation Enterprises Project

Location: Boochan Block of Muzaffarpur district

Education: B.Sc. Agriculture, MBA-Rural Management/Development, Agribusiness, Allied Technical Qualification,

Experience: 1-2 years, fresher can also apply

Skills & Competencies required
  • Dynamic and research-oriented

  • Must have an eye for details and should work in a multi-stakeholder environment. 

  • Rural irrigation scenario and energy management aspects.

  • Experienced in community mobilization aspects

  • Experienced in data collection, management, analysis, reporting, and documentation.

  • Candidates having experience in the area of social enterprise establishment experience will be preferred.

  • Pertinent proficiency in computer operations

Job Profile
  • Identification of ISP (irrigation service provider for establishing the solar-based irrigation system to promote the irrigation service as an entrepreneur model.

  • Capacity building and helping ISPs to prepare business development plans to run their business in more effective ways.

  • To impart training regarding ongoing activities as well as dissemination of information about new agricultural technologies and methodologies among the farmers. Establish relationships with Agricultural Universities and related bodies Like RAU, Pusa, NABARD, Banks etc. 

  • Ensure effective engagement with functionaries of key stakeholders like Jeevika, the Agriculture Department, and the horticulture department at the Block and District level 

  • Preparing evidence-based reports for different stakeholders (internal and external).

  • Maintenance of high-quality MIS for reporting at different levels.

  • Capturing running data of solar-based irrigation systems, irrigated area, benefited farmers number, income generated through providing irrigation service by respective Irrigation service providers.

  • Ensuring timely collection of programme data and maintaining on of MIS.

  • Preparation of quarterly/half-yearly/annual reports of the respective area.
