Development Organizer (DO) Forestry

Location: Maliya Hatina, Junagadh

Education: B.Sc. Forestry / B.Sc. Agriculture or Related Field

Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years experience

Skills & Competencies required
  • Understanding of geographical area and different kind of village resources; agriculture, livestock, water, forest etc.

  • Implementation of project and programmes as per implementation strategy 

  • Preparation of implementation and activity plan for village level.

  • Organize and conduct the training and capacity building events.

  • Documentation of photographs from the field, video clips, movies.

  • Documentation of case studies, success stories from field.

  • Liaison with Government.

  • Programme introduction and acceptance by village community using participatory tools

  • Introductory meeting with Gram Panchayat/ Opinion leaders & Introduction of the programme concepts & objectives to village community.

Job Profile
  • Ensuring community participation in activities. 

  • Ensuring institutional perspective in program. 

  • Following the implementation strategies in all activities 

  • Implementation of project and programmes as per implementation strategy 

  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and facilitate training programs and related activities for community and field Para worker. 

  • Documenting case studies/best practices 

  • Timely payments to labour and suppliers for respective vertical

  • Timely settlement of advances, bill vouchers 

  • Ensuring financial transparency 

  • Ensuring timely reports and MIS 

  • Any other task assigned by AKRSP (I) management.

  • Linkage among project stakeholders, Integration of development programme at village level/hh level 

  • Preparing material for training and IEC for capacity building of community
