Position Summary: The Field Staff will be responsible for mobilizing and supporting farmers in the process of organic certification. The role involves field visits, farmer training, record-keeping, internal inspection, and coordination with certification agencies to ensure compliance with organic standards (e.g., GOPKA, NPOP, PGS, NOP)

Job Profile
Identify and register farmers interested in organic farming and certification.
Conduct village-level meetings and awareness sessions on organic farming and certification benefits.
Support farmers in forming Internal Control Systems (ICS) groups or clusters.
Conduct regular farm visits to monitor organic practices and crop status.
Maintain detailed farmer-wise records, including farm maps, input usage, and cultivation data.
Ensure that farmers follow organic standards and avoid prohibited inputs.
Conduct internal inspections of farms as per organic certification protocols.
Assist in preparing inspection reports, conversion status, and compliance documentation.
Maintain updated records for audit and certification purposes.
Organize training sessions on organic production techniques, composting, bio-inputs, and pest management.
Demonstrate preparation of organic inputs (Jeevamrut, Beejamrut, Vermicompost, etc.).
Support the ICS Manager or Coordinator in data compilation for certification agencies.
Assist in scheduling external inspections and facilitating field verification.
Help in submission of required documents and follow-up for certification approval.
Prepare daily/weekly field activity reports.
Report progress, challenges, and farmer feedback to the project coordinator.
Maintain transparency and timely communication with all stakeholders.
