Account cum Admin officer

Location: Madhepura District of Bihar

Education: B. Com/M. Com/MBA(Fin)

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounts Cum Admin Officer reporting directly to senior management

Skills & Competencies required
  • Ability to complete tasks while maintaining all confidentiality requirements.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Outlook skills, Zoho, Tally with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software.

  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities. 

  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures and familiarity with finance regulations.

Job Profile
  • Oversee day-to-day financial transactions and maintenance of accounts.

  • Ensure proper and complete financial record-keeping (receipts, contracts, backups) using Pivot.

  • Review and track all project payments to ensure accuracy and proper booking of invoices under budget head

  • Processing all payments and compliance with all statutory regulations, managing and track office petty cash, and day-to-day small expenditures; Ensuring timely reimbursements and accurate records 

  • Manage procurement, and maintenance of all project assets; Ensure compliance with AKRSP(I) Procurement Manual

  • Preparation of bank reconciliation statements on a monthly basis.

  • Stock verification every month and tracking staff advances as per the finance manual of AKRSPI 

  • Maintain regular communication with RO (AKRSPI) regarding any funding/financial requests and/or discrepancies.

  • Budget Monitoring and reviewing common cost allocation. 

  • Tracking and proper record keeping for staff attendance/ leave and sending regular balance updates to HR/Admin at RO, reconciling it with data at RO

  • Orientation to new staff on organization systems.

  • Help new staff in finding accommodation, if needed.

  • Coordinate with IT engineer on a monthly basis for software updates and data backup

  • Other duties as assigned
