Position Summary: Skill Trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality skill training sessions while creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for youth at Yuva Junctions and partner centres. The role will provide career counselling and continuous learner support to help candidates build confidence, improve employability skills, and successfully complete the programme. In addition, the position will support youth mobilization, coordinate with community stakeholders and institutions, and assist in placement linkages, employer interactions, and post-placement follow-up, ensuring proper documentation and alignment with organizational and donor requirements.
Job Profile
Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for youth in IT Skills (Advanced Excel, Power BI, Digital Tools) as well as Soft Skills & Employability Skills.
Deliver training on communication skills, spoken English, personality development, workplace readiness, interview skills, and professional behavior.
Use blended learning methods including activities, role plays, case studies, presentations, and digital tools to ensure effective learning.
Monitor and evaluate trainee progress through assessments, mock interviews, presentations, and practical assignments.
Provide continuous mentoring and career guidance to help trainees overcome personal and professional challenges.
Facilitate project implementation, industry exposure sessions, and placement readiness activities.
Deliver hands-on IT training along with practical workplace communication scenarios.
Design and implement digital and classroom learning modules for both technical and soft skills.
Guide learners in adopting emerging technologies and developing professional behaviour required for employability.
