Position Summary: The Development Organiser will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of project activities aimed at promoting women-led solar irrigation enterprises. The role involves field-level implementation, stakeholder coordination, monitoring of progress, and ensuring timely achievement of project objectives.The incumbent will work closely with community institutions, women entrepreneurs, technical partners, and internal teams to facilitate enterprise development, capacity building, and adoption of solar irrigation solutions.
Job Profile
collaboration and identification land within one JEEViKA-promoted CLF geography.
Using the ground pilots, relevant state government agencies such as MNRE, Agriculture Department, and JEEViKA will be brought together to scale up the model by combining the subsidies available under various schemes in these agencies.
Project team will saturate a cluster of 10 to 15 villages within a CLF to demonstrate the model of women-led irrigation service provider model.
Facilitating the baseline and results in the framework will be designed for this ground pilot.
Designing appropriate financing models including existing government programs and proposing additional mechanisms to make solar irrigation schemes affordable and viable for the interested women entrepreneurs
Using the ground pilots as a base, JEEViKA on its own can also scale up this model by acknowledging solar irrigation enterprises as possible livelihoods activity for its members
Technical support and capacity development around energy management and entrepreneurship development.
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the state for the renewable energy program.
Preparing evidence-based reports for different stakeholders (internal and external).
Maintenance of high-quality MIS for reporting at different levels.
