Programme Specialist - Skill

Location: Sendhwa, Madhya Pradesh

Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in IT Professional MCA, BE, MSc in computer science.

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing youth skill development and employability projects.

Skills & Competencies required
  • Strong understanding of youth skill development programmes, project management, placement processes, and market demand.

  • Good understanding of employment trends, opportunities, and placement processes in key sectors such as IT, BFSI, Retail, and Management.

  • Knowledge of the skill development ecosystem, training needs, and available support structures.

  • Excellent project and people management skills.

  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and liaise effectively with government departments and partner organisations.

  • Proficiency in MIS management, data analysis, and presentation.

  • Strong report writing and communication skills

  • Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation tools and systems.

  • Financial planning and programme budgeting skills.

Job Profile
  • Lead and manage the implementation of the Skill Development Programme.

  • Organise placement drives, workshops, and promotional events to increase awareness and participation among youth.

  • Plan and execute training programmes, exposure visits, and placement support activities for selected candidates.

  • Liaise with donors, government departments, and industry partners to strengthen programme outcomes.

  • Maintain and update project data, reports, and MIS regularly.

  • Prepare periodic progress reports to communicate achievements and learning effectively.

  • Ensure efficient planning, utilisation, and monitoring of programme budgets.
