Deputy Manager (Monitoring and Evaluation)

Location: Ahmedabad

Education: Masters degree in rural management/ development or social studies/communications/research or other relevant fields

Experience: 3-5 Years in the development sector, particularly Documentation, Monitoring Evaluation, Data Management

Skills & Competencies required

    Position Summary: 

    The Programme Specialist (M&E) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing monitoring systems, ensuring timely collection, analysis, and reporting of programme data. The role will strengthen evidence-based decision-making, improve programme quality, and support learning for the interventions.

  •  

  • Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication 

  • Reporting and Documentation  

  • Data management and analysis 

  • Proficiency in Canva, Power BI, ArcGIS, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint would be preferred.

  •  

  • Preferred Attributes: 

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Ability to simplify and explain data to field staff and communities.

  • Good communication and reporting skills in English and local language.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for data collection and analysis.

  • Ability to work with diverse communities and travel extensively to field locations

Job Profile

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to measure Project results.

  • Develop Case studies, Impact Studies, Outcome studies/research, Magazine.

  • Coordinate and manage project assessment/research/internships

  • Support in Communication material development.

  • Support in Proposal development.

  • Data Management and Analysis

  • AKRSP(I) MIS Management and Support.

  • Programme/MIS Data Analysis and Reporting using Excel, Stata, SPSS, Tableau, ArcGIS etc.

  • Programme/MIS Visualization including dashboards, graphs, charts and reports.

  • Provide data analysis and interpretation to support evaluation of programme activities.

  • Capacity building of the team in data management and analysis.

  •  

  • Programme Support

  • Donor and internal reporting management and quality assurance.

  • Coordinate and support Programme Strategy Monitoring and Evaluation.

  • Support in Project implementation with data driven insights.

  • Represent organization at various levels.

  • Any other tasks assigned by reporting officer.
